Climbing Pyramid Bloom's with the FLIP Pillars: Introduction

As part of the graduate course in mentioned in my previous post, we are tasked to create a project demonstrating our learning of the FLIP pillars. I've always believed that the best way to demonstrate learning of any topic is to use Bloom's Taxonomy as a guide. For those who are unfamiliar, the image below shows the different ways a person can demonstrate "learning:" remembering, understanding, applying, analyzing, evaluating and creating.

In the subsequent blog posts, I will climb Pyramid Bloom by demonstrating my learning of the FLIP pillars, starting with the "understanding" portion, since remembering can't really be demonstrated in a blog post.
